I love this burner, you know how to burn CD/DVD and the progress bar shows 100% but the burner is still on then you get an error code that says something like: not enough data or there wasn't enough disk space, something like that. Never with this burner, of course it's a bit expensive but I've never lost a blank disc to a stupid burner error, cd, cdrw, dvdr, dvdrw, bdr, bdrw, none of these unless the disc was completely scratched and unusable , but I put some pretty rough discs in it and it still wrote on it. I was skeptical at first because of the price of this item, I mean $192. Wow I can buy about 6 burners for that price but now I know why I paid that much. Quality and that's the workhorse, that can't do anything, even these improved DVDs, double layer 4.6GB can do it too. If a disc fits in, it can be played, ripped, burned, duplicated, etc if you have the software. 5 stars goes to this machine, best drive interface I have ever bought. Period.
