Review on Effortlessly Streamline Your Kitchen With SAMODRA Soap Dispenser And Tube Kit: No More Bottles Or Refills Needed! by Chris Hall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You can't beat this one for the price

First let me tell you I have a 5 hole sink from the mid 60's stainless steel with scratches and small dents from over the years. If I was going to remodel my entire kitchen I'd replace it but to me it still works so I'm good. I had to replace the one handle faucet because of leakage after x number of years. Went with a delta replacement with the side sprayer.that covered 4 of the holes in the sink. The 5th hole was for the air vent that is no longer needed.I decided to replace the vent with a soap dispenser and after researching a lot of them I went with this one. Yes it is plastic with a chrome finish but so is the Delta hand sprayer. I looked at the reviews on the metal Delta soap dispenser which is similar looking to this one at $65+ and found they have issues just like anything else. Everything you buy now a days is a hit or miss.fortunately hits are greater than misses. The only issues I had with installing it was that I had to squeeze my 66 year old body through the very narrow door opening in the cabinet under the sink and work around the garbage disposal and pipes (you can see the bottle in the upper left hand corner of first pic. Being by myself I couldn't hold the the threaded tube stationary to be able to put the nut on so I used a rubber band to make it so it wouldn't spin (2nd pic) worked great and I was still able to center it over the hole. Last trip under the sink the nut was tightened more and the bottle screwed on.I filled it with Dawn.Delta told a customer to use a thinner brand because of issues.huh? I love it. You can dispense a lot or a little. Pump works great, swivels easy (it just sitting on top of the base) and you refill from the top by removing the pump spout. I'm very happy with my purchase. Pic 3 shows the end result. If this unit only last but a short while.oh well.I'll buy another one at this price.if it lasts longer great! I no longer have that bottle of Dawn sitting on the counter next to the sink. BTW I'm a widowed female 66 with health and body issues but I was able to do this on my own.so ladies don't wait for hubby to install one.lol
