Review on MOOG Chassis Products K100316 Joint by Wayde Lash

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Adjust camber and caster simultaneously 0.7/1.7

Without lubrication. Manufactured in SPC but came in a Moog box. The instructions are not accurate. The top plate is symmetrical and pluggable, the body is easy to insert by hand, for night clocking I used channel locks on the body, the top plate is easily unscrewed and then rotated. When installing offset ball joints, you must first zero all camber adjustment screws on the swing arm/arm mounts, place a magnetic level on the hub surface, and adjust the ball joint so the hub is 90* vertical or plumb with positive caster, or so that the upper part was slightly inclined. Back, zero the camber adjusters and make the ball joints asymmetrical, then install the camber roller on the adjusters, then on the ball joints. It takes a few times to get a perfect return, and a fourth. You have to tip the manager and the mechanic as it means more work than usual and if you don't do it right your truck will have suspension demons and weird positions.

Pros
  • Shock absorbers, struts and suspension
