Prang is one of those companies that can really compete with prismacolor for their money on certain products. That's great. Soft, really reliable. Very easy to sharpen with a razor (I use a utility knife). Soft enough to get with an elastomeric eraser and not tear the paper. I've dropped a few and they don't usually break the core. And cheap to download. I take them to my body shaping classes and a few other people have gradually moved away from the generals (they are awesome but more expensive and harder to hand sharpen). Check out their colored pencils (white and yellow are excellent quality, I prefer prismacolor) if you like them.
