Review on Five Ten Sleuth Mountain Bike Men's Shoes for Athletic by Rick Bishop

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good for cycling

I wanted good cycling shoes that can be used without spikes. I've used regular running or hiking shoes but they work much better. The soles are stiffer than hiking boots and I could feel the difference when pedaling. You feel a little more connected to the pedals, but not really connected to them like you do with clamps. I usually wear US size 10 and this size 10 fits me perfectly. Maybe a little tight for me but I think the next size up will be sloppy. Although the sole is stiffer than hiking shoes, they don't cause any discomfort when walking. A good all round shoe for cycling around town, running errands or any other time you need to get on and off your bike.

Pros
  • I wear them on my daily bike ride to and from work. I love her.
Cons
  • One of them got his butt blown off mountain biking twice a month at the age of 5 months.
