Review on Experience Unmatched Power With AIRCAT 1150 "Killer Torque" Composite Impact Wrench - 1295 Ft-Lbs by David Norwood

So my HF Earthquake finally broke and I sought replacement. Well this wrench was a little more money that most but I decided to take a gamble. With what we do for work a good air wrench is a requirement. So I bought this Aircat 1150 and when I first got it I thought wow this is so overkill. It seemed so strong and fast I thought it would be a waste. However I have now had this for a month and love it.It is much more powerful than the HF Earthquake wrench. I don't mean a little bit . I mean this wrench often breaks body mount bolts where I usually need a breaker bar and 4 foot pipe.It is much quicker, which took some getting used to, but it spins off fully torque truck nuts in about 1/4 of the time of any other wrench I have used. Quicker results means less air - it works our compressor a lot less often than others. Often times when working on a blind nut or bolt I question if it worked because it was so quick but sure enough each time the fastener is removed.Noise! Well I have to say Aircat got this right - they somehow managed to really quiet this wrench down. At first I was thinking this wrench was hardly working however when I put on a lug nut tight with this wrench and my other IR failed to remove it . I was sold. I put this wrench back on it and tightened it then reversed and BAM - - - off came the lug nut.Overall after a month of use I am very impressed. Long term results will dictate if I stay at five stars or not - but for now Five Stars is hardly enough.
