I bought these men's shoes because I'm a wide footed girl who is tired of being squeezed into shoes that aren't in the shape of a foot. I had to send these shoes back. I had room under my toes. Unfortunately, as always a problem for me, the manufacturer forgets that people often have a wider metatarsal head. Who Needs Bones? No one! The 5th mountain hit the heads pressed against the top of the shoe and those heads sat right on the corner edge of the shoe platform. This gets painful fast! They were so close in size! I liked the comfort of the upper. The outsole/cleats were great. I want to hike in them. I felt that the shoes often didn't cushion too much. I think this particular style would make my legs tired. Overall these seem like good shoes that just weren't wide enough for me. Someday I'll find shoes that are wide enough and I'll buy a whole bunch.
