I got what I expected based on the pictures but claims of strength are kind of bullshit. It would be hard to test and it doesn't really relate to how it's supposed to be used. You probably won't be dragging things anywhere to get a nice flat surface for the magnet to fully mate, and then as they point out the full review is that both sides of the magnet aren't really exposed. Picking up random steel items got me frustrated. Even if you remove the tab on the other flat side it won't have the same strength as there is a different material there and it doesn't fully expose the magnet. I knew all this before buying (as written in the description) but they should only have one way capacity listed in the description and not be dingy used car salesmen.
