Review on Instapark Leakage Detection Sensor Battery by Dave Calabro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Can you say it out loud?! However, you will need Velcro to attach it.

This is exactly what we needed. We placed two of these in the attic, in metal tubs for each water heater. Unlike some older standalone devices, they can be used in a metal shell because the contacts don't come in contact with metal. I placed them in the pots and attached the horns to the side of the water heaters with velcro (the included suction cups are useless). Then I closed the attic door, put on the gunslinger's headphones, licked my finger and touched the contacts, which set off one of the alarms. My wife said she could hear it slightly downstairs on the other side of the house. We wanted that. Update: Since the sensor and horn are separate, it would be great to place them around the RV, in places where leaks can be common (near slides, in the basement, etc.). They will be in our RV when we decide which one to choose. The only thing I would change is that I would ditch the useless suction cup and double foam pads and add some velcro stickers instead. These special double stick foam pads don't stick as well as you might expect. But I always carry velcro with me so that's not a problem for me. Just keep in mind that you will likely need velcro to attach the horns.
