Review on πŸŒ‚ ReflectSafe: The Ultimate Smart Reflective Umbrella with Pending Patent by Kris Wagner

Poor quality rusts Easy

I was so happy when I received this umbrella. Opens and closes very nicely. It seems really solid and strong. The way it reflects is great for night trips etc. Unfortunately any good qualities are overshadowed by the fact that I didn't even make it through LA's very short rainy season and it's already rusting. What do I really mean? so to speak. WHY DOES THIS UMBRELLA RUST AT ALL? I've only had it for 2 months and not used much. I dry as much as I can. It's Teflon so the rain doesn't get wet but the rust has already weakened the levers and one almost broke today. So not reinforced, as written in the description. I think that's because it's leaking a bit at the seams. The reflective fabric on the seams is not waterproof. Then when it closes the water stays next to the metal bars causing this problem. I don't have time to return this and I really wanted to support the people who seemed to have good reasons for designing this umbrella, but I highly recommend using the Target brand or something else as I know it's not for them eternity is built. Funnily enough, mine lasted many years and never rusted. After almost 10 years of use, it finally cracked inside out. And this in conditions of a long season of heavy rains.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Vulgarity
