Pros:- Narrow (could be a con if you need a wider seat) - will fit through most doorways- Locks on all 4 wheels- Swivel footrests (if they work; see below)- Sleek - not bulky; doesn't look like hospital equipment- Did not have problem of middle portion popping out (as some reviews mentioned)- Height adjustable for ADA toilets- Armrests can be tilted for easier transferringCons- Footrest swivels did not work even out of the box (see below on why)- Seat is uncomfortable to sit on for more than 30 minutes (especially without middle section)- Wheel becomes stiff and immovable over time- Seat pops up when sitting at an angleI bought this chair 2 years ago and after using it nearly daily I can say that it has not held up. Even when I initially bought it there were problems before using it even once. I mentioned above that the swivel footrests did not work. One of the footrests had holes that did not align with the metal button and so it would not lock in place. Additionally, the footrests were really tight and hard to swivel, so my family never used them and instead opted to use my Squatty Potty as a footrest whenever I sat on the chair.I didn't experience the middle portion (the commode cover) popping out while sitting like some other reviews have said. But I did notice that the seat would pop out of place if you sat at the edge. This was pretty scary because if it popped all the way out, you risk falling on the floor. Another reviewer said they fixed this problem by drilling the seat into the chair. For the price, the company should have done this already. Also, the seat itself is pretty hard and uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time. This is especially the case if you're sitting on it without commode cover because (for me at least) the sides of the hole would usually press down on one of my hips, making my leg on that side go numb. The main reason I'm writing my review now is that the chair is no longer movable. One of the wheels has locked in place to the point that it no longer turns, making maneuvering it nearly impossible. I've tried using WD40 to grease the wheel but that didn't last since it got washed away in the shower.Lastly, I paid about $233 for this chair back in 2020. As of this review (April 27, 2022), it's selling for $408. That's way overpriced given many of the issues I listed above. I might consider giving this chair another chance if it were the same price but considering that it's 1.75x more expensive, I'm going to pass. It's too bad because the chair has a lot going for it but the cost and all the issues I mention make it hard to recommend.
