I initially used an older sound card and was able to use the II for about a year without any problems. It was about 90% of gameplay on PC and 10% on PS4. So after hearing about the new updated alpha and sound card, I decided to buy both and give them a try. To my disappointment, the sound card was not working properly. If you play on PS4 and chat with friends, don't buy this sound card. Party chat volume is almost 500 times louder than game sound on PS4 settings with game chat priority set to maximum. After consulting support, they recommended a mixamp from Astro, which doesn't even allow using a sound card. I used an old Cloud II sound card, with improved Alpha comfort. The sound card solves the problem. Unfortunately tech support couldn't fix the issue so I left it at a 4. The mic is an improvement too, although the Hyperx alpha has a good mic it gives you a quality close to the Yeti.
