I use them for almost everything except paintings or art. They hold all my shelves, towel rails and TP holders. I've never had a single fault, not even with books and clothes. I like that you can remove and reinstall the screws without damaging the anchor. They leave a bigger hole than some anchors, but I don't usually have to take them out, and ultimately I value strength more.
