Easy to install, works great on a 2012 Honda Pilot. The instructions are a bit unclear so I'll break them down for you. First step; Under hood fuse box (the one in the middle of the engine compartment - similar to under the air intake, but the air intake does not need to be removed). Insert the fuse into the empty slot labeled "TRAILER". Then open the tailgate and fold down the rear seats. There is a small cover on the driver's side that says "AUX" which you need to open with a flathead screwdriver. Inside is a white wire harness that you connect one end of the included wire harness to. The other end of the harness connects to a small black relay box, which then plugs directly into the small metal plate already in that compartment. Close this panel. Then lie down under the back of the car. There is a wiring harness in the rear bumper on the driver's side. It has a gray protective cap - carefully remove this cap and connect to the wire harness from your kit which has a T connector on one end (the other end is a 4 wire trailer connector). Make sure it's there. Then use the cable ties provided to secure this harness to the chassis (being careful not to attach it to any part of the exhaust pipe) and route it to the trailer mount. That's all. You're done and it should work great.
