I've been through 2 memory foam mattresses but both made my back/hips hurt, I figured it was because they were too soft. Got a firm mattress, too firm I guess cuz my hips still hurt. Thought I'd try a topper to soften it a bit, and saw a review for this one written by a fellow side sleeper saying that it fixed the same problem I was having. She was right! I am no longer waking up in pain! This topper is soft enough to feel luxurious while providing some support. I love it! It had no bad smell and did not take long to be sleep ready. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it.
