Doesn't illuminate the aquarium as brightly as the ZooMed brand. There is also a green cast in a small area of illumination - see photo. Temps recorded and they're a good 106 degrees 6 inches under light on the high branch. Bottom temperature is 96 degrees in a 40 gallon aquarium. That being said I would recommend this brand over ZooMed as my dragon seems to be a lot more alert and active. . He seems a lot happier with it, which is why I like it. ❤ I have edited this review several times since I had this light for a few weeks. My initial thought was to return it but based on my reaction and the beard's behavior I LOVE it and won't be returning. Keep up the good work for our cute reptiles!
