They are great, like all JG Speedfit items. I'm not sure if there is much of a difference between these and other compatible quick.speed fittings. I've used 3-4 brands and I like them all. I think all the crashes were caused by user error. It's best to use a very sharp razor blade to slowly slice through all your pipes - cut perpendicularly, slice slowly, nice and clean - let the razor do its job and rock it back and forth. When you put them together, push them in all the way, then push harder and you'll feel them go in about 1/8 inch. Once you feel it, you'll notice that the first stop isn't fully inserted.
