Exactly what I was looking for, a bright and colorful dog jacket with a simple, clean style. I chose a combination of blue and yellow and the colors are great; Blue is turquoise and yellow is a bright, pure yellow. The jacket is reversible so you can easily choose the color you want to show off when your dog wears it. I also like that the design is simple and streamlined without a lot of straps, buttons, stripes or patchwork. There is a very thin reflective border around the edges; it works very well at night but not very noticeable during the day. I love that this coat is a solid color and the fabric is very soft, smooth, strong and bright. The jacket is made to be fastened with velcro, which allows you to fully adjust the length both at the stomach and at the neck. Flip it over if you want to display the second color; The velcro works great no matter what color you choose for the outside. Regardless of color, the Velcro closure remains hidden inside, giving this jacket a bold and colorful look without the distraction of buckles or fasteners. The velcro closure makes this coat easy to put on my dog too - he doesn't even have to stand still and there are no sleeves to put his legs through. I also love that this jacket has a little slit in the back so I can put my dog in her walking harness, then slide her jacket over the harness, and then thread the leash hook through the slit so I can attach the leash to the harness, while my dog wears a coat. My dog can proudly wear his cute and colorful fur when we walk around the neighborhood! Ideal! So many dog shirts and coats don't have that little slit so I'm glad to find one that does. If I attach my dog's leash to his collar he can move freely so he needs to wear a harness for his safety, so if the coat doesn't have a slit he can't wear it on a walk. The weight of this coat is also good for my dog. It's a kind of down jacket for a dog, but the fabric is very light, smooth and thin, and the "down" part is only lightly padded, not too bulky. This lightweight coat will help keep my dog warm, but isn't so thick and heavy that he doesn't overheat or become uncomfortable. I selected the size using the seller's chart and the jacket fits my dog perfectly; The Velcro adjustment helps you achieve the perfect fit.
