I recently moved into an old house (probably built in the 1920's) in Florida. I've been to Florida for a while, but this unit struggled with the humidity. I went to bed and my sheets felt slightly damp, and when I did the dishes they didn't air dry overnight. So I went to Revain looking for an inexpensive but worthwhile dehumidifier to save me from a headache and aggravation. I found this one and took a chance and I'm so glad I did. The device was easy to set up (almost just plugging it in) and even included instructions if you needed one. I hooked it up and never looked back. When plugged in, it's pretty quiet and I honestly don't even notice the noise in my bedroom. The light on the back of the device is also quite soft, so it won't disturb sleep. It has a small handle at the top if you need to move the device, which comes in handy when trying to find the best location and placement. It pulls a lot of water out of the air and you just turn it off, empty the sink/tub reservoir, replace the reservoir and turn it back on when you need to make room. Lasts less than 15 seconds. I empty the container about every 2 days and it hasn't overflowed/spilled in that time. My apartment is about 600 square meters and I find it to be a great size for my needs.
