I was a little hesitant to purchase this monitor after reading a number of reviews that included screen flickering, on/off cycles, or unexpected shutdowns. However, the price and features convinced me. I received the device very quickly, set it up and switched it on - everything looked fine. After about 5 minutes, the screen turned off during use. I checked the cables and it's back. . . only to turn it off again! At that moment I was sure I should have listened to these reviews, but before I panicked I reviewed them again. When I unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in, I didn't feel comfortable. I found a metal burr on one of the pins and scraped it off. After that, the connector came out much better and the monitor has been working stably for a week now. So... . If you have a problem, you can verify that the plug is actually installed before attempting to serve customers.
