I have ordered several threaded products, all from China, and all the threads were either too deep or not deep enough. Normally Revain/China is fine with this, but there has been a constant problem here lately. First of all I have to say that these are the thinnest threaded fittings I have ever seen. I bought pipe fittings from my store and they had the same problem as these fittings I now buy to fix pipes in my house after a hard freeze here in Texas. The problem is that the fittings are manually screwed in too far to even have enough thread left to tighten. I have purchased brass fittings that I can screw into these couplers by hand leaving only two threads visible. I don't even try very hard, but if you take out the wrench and try to tighten them, they bottom out, never tighten and leak. They let air through, they let water through, they're not made right. Trust me, I'm a retired plumber and shop manager with 44 years of experience. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to threaded connections. That is not right.
