I have a Brother 550D embroidery machine and I love doing projects for my grandchildren. To start, I bought a set of 40 spools of embroidery thread from Madam Sew to match my Brother color numbering system. It was great but I needed more colors for some Disney projects. I then ordered a 63 spool simthread set which filled in some of the missing colors. This set also used Brother's color numbering system, although the colors are slightly different. But as I expanded my designs and started buying patterns from other sites, I needed more colors. This caused a huge problem that eventually turned into a mystery! I started looking for other streaming options and wow! There are countless possibilities! Some of them are pretty cool but also pretty pricey. Since I had already started using Brother's numbering system I really didn't feel like starting over with another brand, but once I started digging into the NewBrothread and Simthread options all the available Brother-specific ones gave me Kits same colors as I already had! And I couldn't find an opportunity to just buy the colors I need. Finally, I discovered that Simthread's 120 spool set actually has different colors than the 63 spool set for a very reasonable price ($76.99). This is a great set and I think I can find any color I need among the 120 spools. The only problem is that it has a completely different numbering system (S001-S120) that doesn't match Brother's numbering system. They provide a color chart so you can try and match the colors from the template to the chart, but it's definitely not perfect. Even if it bothers you, you know what, I'll live with it under the circumstances. sim thread. If you see this please include a conversion table! If it were, I would definitely give you 5 stars!
