This is a real tree. No chipboard, no pressed board, it's 100% real bamboo. The holes are pre-drilled for screws. Very nicely designed and easy to assemble! The top is big enough for a loaf of bread but won't hold a bagel or tortilla. Now for the cons. The pre-drilled holes for the door do not have an exact dimension when drilling. The top door and bottom door overlap, causing a strange scenario when trying to open one and catching the other door. In reality it's pretty minor and I couldn't avoid doing it myself. I deducted 1 star for this as this is a real problem and can even result in the magnets not being perfectly aligned resulting in a weak magnetic hold when the doors are closed. This can be corrected by rounding the inside corner of the top door with a sander and slightly deepening the cutouts for the bottom door hinges. Literally 1mm lower will fix it. Overall, this is an absolutely beautiful and real tree! I couldn't ask for more considering it's exactly what I look for in antique shops. Everything is usually cheap chipboard stuff with veneer stickers on it.
