I ordered this plug when my puppy chewed the original plug from my vacuum cleaner. Before he got here (which was very quick!), my husband brought one home from work that someone had given him. He put it on, and two days later it burst and stopped. He went to work so I fixed it myself with this connector. It was so easy, took about 10 minutes. I like the way it sticks to the wall. We have old sockets that allow the plug to move. This fork remains very reliable. It won't come out of the plug until you unplug it. It can be connected in any way (cable up or cable down) without being disconnected.
