All of my NTE heat shrink tubing has been very good, this one too. I use many of their double stick products with a 3:1 shrink ratio with my "Tone Defender" cables, they don't burn or blow as easily under a heavy heat gun as cheap materials usually do. Also, lateral shrinkage isn't as high as some other brands, so length is less affected by the shrinking process. really nice feature. This is their thin walled product and is useful for low voltage applications in tight spaces like in a microphone or other places where flexibility is a primary concern. It is best to use their heavier materials for household voltage (or higher) or higher current applications, e.g. B. to cover a notch in a battery cable in your car. Keep it safe, always check everything underneath before applying (including checking for sharp or pointed wire/solder connections that may stick out during the shrinking process) and use the correct product for your application.
