Poor design around the valve

I bought the shower to upgrade my cabana bathroom but 2 plumbers I showed it to were hesitant to install it mainly because they said the valve housing is made of plastic and isn’t very sturdy . They were affraid to bring welding flame anywhere near the housing because it could melt the plastic housing . Not sure why anyone would Incase the valve where a welding torch may have to be used ?Company mailed me 2 $10 gift cards if I write a 5 star review but unfortunately I can’t just write a good review for a product I had trouble installing

The system may require frequent cleaning to avoid clogging or buildup
