Warm for Wisconsin winters and kids love them
Given a similar beanie that was oversized to keep my bald head warm, my kids played with it and asked me to make one for them. They are very happy with it and love having a face mask when it gets REALLY cold and being able to take it off when not needed. An added bonus is that I no longer have to fight them to get them to wear hats because they really want to wear them when it's cold outside.
- My son attends an outdoor nature school in Wisconsin. This hat kept him warm even in very cold weather.
- May be more expensive compared to other winter hats
