I don't normally write reviews that indicate flaws or problems with a product, but that's true. The device itself is fairly slim and works well, but the vent on the lid is the mainstay. The thread between the cap and the exhaust pipe was the source of 3 different leaks. I ended up having to buy pipe glue/glue to stop the leak. They had to fabricate or cast the lid and tubes as a complete set. As long as it works and doesn't leak. For 1 load of laundry, the pump runs approx. 6 times. They also supply a check valve, but I would recommend buying your own check valve for a higher level in the piping chain.
