I wanted to replace the 2 metal screws on the Skywatcher "Equatorial Wedge" that Star Adventurer uses for my small AZ-GTi telescope and not use an allen wrench to loosen and tighten the 2 screws to align the polarity. It's a pain so when I found this on Revain those stitches seem like a great idea? I took it and removed the 2 6mm socket head screws and then used the allen wrench and lifted the red metal handle and put the new screw in the hole and it took a little longer but once it was done I liked it so I could replace it could loosen and adjust the wedge left and right and then tighten it. The only problem is that the lever screw is very loose and the spring is very weak so adjustment isn't as easy as I was hoping. It works, but I would like the spring to be stiffer and tighter. I haven't found anything comparable on the market, so it's better than 2 original screws.
