Review on Lite On eNAU108-111: High-speed 8x External USB DVD Writer by Raymond Iglesias

This item was purchased for use with a small laptop/large laptop without a built in DVD reader. The main intended function was to download software onto the laptop. While it worked with all software on CDs and played video DVDs and data DVDs with no problems, it did not recognize DVDs with software for a commercial program, Photoshop Elements 10. I have verified that the DVD - the software disc is recognized by at least three other laptop or desktop computers with built-in DVD readers. However, repeated attempts to use this Lite-On model with the Photoshop Elements 10 software DVD failed, so I ended up returning it. Apart from this operating flaw, it seems to be a good device.
