Review on 📐 JessEm 03003 9.25" x 11.75" Template for Mast-R-Lift/Mast-R-Plate by Mack Douglas

I wasn't impressed. This thing is oversized and requires a template socket. Why? Of course I have one the right size, but why not just trim the hole to the correct final size and let people use the template? This simple choice adds 15 minutes of setup time for free. The only reason I can offer this solution is to use the extra radius to mask the visible vibration left in the inside corners by the CNC router that cut this. And since this thing is CNC cut, which JessEm mentions repeatedly in the product description, why not add a center mark to the template? Or provide a second nested template to cut a through hole? Being such a simple product, it seems very poorly executed.
