I don't know what "thickness" is, it has nothing to do with it lol. My first thought when I started using this product was that I was doomed and the readings soon followed. My first thought came true, but like most men, I didn't really read the instructions, so I found my reading glasses. and learned that there is hope. I just had to be patient for the instrument to get an accurate average. Yes I had everything in a good range - should be with all air purifiers I have. I don't remember exactly at the time, but I think this device got me thinking about EMF and cell phone radiation, so I bought one of those things. I missed that lol. Why, because I live right next door to a defense contractor and the power lines to their property are only 25 feet behind my house. Cell phones were the biggest problem. So I took the recommended steps to stop these bad actors from bombing my corpse and lo and behold I feel a lot better. I'm glad I got both items. I can't immediately remember which EMI detector I bought, but I think Revain will find this information and rack my brains to write a review. Heck, I don't usually write good reviews, in my opinion it just increases the price of things. Well at least I did, now I'm running for reviewer of the year and will be rewarded with a box of Depends. lmao.
