Refresh the look of my back porch

I wanted to replace the porch tiles that looked like outdated terra cotta tiles but I wanted to avoid the hassle of replacing them. then i saw this interlocking wooden decking on my friend's balcony and i liked the idea, now it looks very nice and modern. I live in a hot and muggy city so let's see how bad/good it can be and how long it will last.
