Review on ROKR Assembly Puzzle Wooden Submarine by Scott Goff

After assembling the Orpheus music box, I was excited to build the Submarine. Considering the unnecessarily complex process of creating it, the finished product wasn't worth the effort. My biggest concern is that the lower section, which supports the weight of the top-heavy subwoofer, is unstable and glued to the rest of the model rather than attaching pins or hinges. I feel like I'm going to spend my whole sub life trying to put it back on. Second, the mechanism at the front of the model is wood glued to metal and you don't see that it's going to last very long. The mechanism is under a plastic dome that we glued together. So if the mechanism breaks, I have to destroy most of the subwoofer to fix it.
