This whistle is LOUD and that's a good thing

Buying a whistle WITHOUT a plastic pea is the only way to buy a whistle! If the pea splits or something happens to it, your whistle is useless!I bought 3 of these to give to my 3 closest women friends who travel for work on public transportation. Sadly this world is getting more and more dangerous as days go by. This whistle is very LOUD and that's exactly why lifeguards use it and that's why I bought this particular item.At least my friends have 'something' to draw attention to them if they need to. Hopefully they never have to it but at a time of distress the whistle will send out a very LOUD signal for help. (Plus if it's blown close enough to an ear, it will certainly cause some HURT!)

I use it to call my almost deaf dog. He here's this sound and I have one at every door.

While the Fya Professional Sports Whistle is designed for use by referees, coaches, and lifeguards, it might not be suitable for other sports or activities where a more discreet whistle is required
