Review on Varathane 200061H Water-Based Ultimate Polyurethane - 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - Gloss Finish: Product Review, Features, and Buying Guide by David Edwards

When I first applied this product I really liked it over my white chalk paint on my kitchen cabinets. I cleaned them and then sanded them down. Then I applied semi-gloss white chalk paint, several coats. I then followed all the directions to apply this resin to the dry painted cabinets. I thought everything was fine, but then they immediately started turning yellow. I then had to repaint the yellow spots and add more poly. I thought it was working but after a few weeks all the cabinets start having a yellow tint due to the poly. The two cabinets I couldn't polygon look amazing because the color was great. I recommend this, but only if you're using it for a darker color project. I have no idea what to use on white now, it's definitely NOT crystal clear when it dries as advertised.
