This is a video from my YouTube channel, my username is /nickcapaccio. The entire body of the Cloud Stinger is made out of plastic but feels very solid and high quality, the plastic doesn't creak when it flexes like other headsets do. Most of the trim is matte plastic with some gloss accents. Inside the headband is a faux leather lining that has good cushioning. The headband has a beautiful and durable adjustable steel slider that clicks at every notch. Each earcup can be twisted and rotated. The swirl feels very comfortable and allows them to sit perfectly on my ear. The ear pads have memory foam pads that are very soft and provide enough cushioning to keep the ear off the rider. With many other gaming headsets, my ears usually touch the driver, but I was very pleased with how comfortably they fit on my ears. The headset feels big and chunky, and the cushions can get warm. They don't breathe as much as I'd like, the earcups are a bit dented, but they're very comfortable to wear for hours. They are very close to the ears. My ears don't sweat, but I can see how it happens when you're wearing a bulky sweater. There's a volume control on the bottom of the right earcup that doesn't adjust the volume on your device, only the headset, so I turned the volume up to about 90 percent and then adjusted the volume on the headset. The slider feels good overall, but it doesn't slide entirely smoothly, it gets a little harder to slide when you turn the volume all the way down. But it's a nice feature that lets you quickly turn down the volume if needed. The mic isn't detachable like pricier cloud headsets, but you can enable the mic to turn it off when you're not using it. The mic actually has a switch that turns on and off when you turn it on. It's also flexible, so you can bend the mic to find the right position. The Cloud Stinger is equipped with 50mm drivers that do their job perfectly. I was really surprised at how great they sounded, especially for a $50 headset, but they sound just as good as headphones twice the price. This headset is made for action, they aren't as flat as good headphones but they do an amazing job of really emphasizing the action. The bass hits hard and the explosions have more weight. When watching a movie, I found them to be a bit boomy in the low-mid range, especially when there were scenes with deep bass and dialogue. But for music they sounded great, the bass was deep, the vocals were clear and there was plenty of detail in the highs. They have a good wide soundstage. They feel open and I felt like I had a better sense of my surroundings in first person shooters. This headset works great even at loud levels and doesn't distort the sound. Overall I am very happy with this headset, although they have used an all plastic design to keep costs down they have not skimped when it comes to the sound. They are very comfortable to use for long gaming sessions, they are very durable and well made.
