You can find many Bluetooth portable thermal printers that cost less than this item. However, having owned a few cheaper ones, I understand why this one costs more. What do you have to decide; whether the additional functions are worthwhile for you and whether they are used. What I like: - Ability to print on larger paper compared to cheaper paper - More options for barcodes, QR codes, hey I have no doubt you could even figure out how to use it to print a shipping label, although I've found the Post can't say the office would like it but was told if they could read and scan it they would accept it.
