Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Lenovo 28-IN S28U-10 C19280DS0 HDMI Monitor by Wan Mohd Taufik (Wan แ Œ

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

I am engaged in photo and video, for this I bought. I took it blindly (one and a half reviews on the network and several reviews), examined it already at home. I replaced the seasoned, but solid HP ZR24w, on which the backlight lamps had already begun to "get tired" (the brightness barely reached 120 cd / m2). Finally I understood what the "absence of a crystalline effect" is and how it happens without it at all :) I found jambs on some of my works that I had simply not seen before. For convenience, I set the scale to 175%. It is a pity that not all software can adapt to scaling without dancing with a tambourine. The same Davinci Resolve 17 generally does not know how to scale the interface normally (I hope so far). I won't say anything about games. I personally am completely satisfied with the monitor, there are no questions for it from the word at all, pants are full of happiness. So far this is the first week of use, and then we will see.

Pros
  • Fully justified price. Close to perfect color reproduction from the factory. Checked with a Spyder 5 + DisplayCAL colorimeter. The curves barely changed. The brightness is more than enough (to achieve the desired 160 cd / m2 reduced to 56%). Uniform illumination. Pixels are not visible due to the high density. The picture is lively and honest.
Cons
  • No obvious deficiencies have been identified so far. Only obvious quibbles. There is no stand, but I have been using mine from OmniMount for many years with all degrees of freedom. Because the VESA mount is slightly lower relative to the center, you need to keep in mind the final height (I had to due to the features of the mount). No USB hub. But given the cost, this is "not a bug, but a feature." An old separate hub solved the issue. Only two input ports, although DVI and VGA are not really needed for someone (itโ€™s somehow strange to put this monitor on old hardware). DisplayPort cable purchased separately, because. not included. In general, everything is expected and without surprises.
