I first used this lens after renting it to use with my Canon 5D Mark II on an overland trip. After the first hour of shooting with it, I knew I had to buy it. I'm not sure what's so special about this lens, but it seems to bring photos to life more than any of my other lenses, no matter what focal length I use it at or what subject. I'm a broke college student so it took me a lot of time and effort to get the bank to give me a loan just so I could buy this lens, but it was definitely worth it. It's a constant staple for me in a variety of situations and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, high-quality, wide-angle lens.
