This worked fine on my 1996 Astro Van. This fixes the problem of the starter oscillating before jerking, especially when the engine is warm. Smaller than my old starter but fits well. Easy DIY work. Simply loosen 2 bolts, reset the starter and disconnect the 2 wires. (Be sure to disconnect the negative cable from the battery first.) Reinstall in the reverse order. I consider it my duty to purchase Delco parts for any electrical repair on my Chevy. My original starter has 156,000 miles so can't complain.
