This unit was easy to install. I'm a certified biomedical engineer so I know how to install electronic devices. It looks good. It's too easy to toggle settings on and off when cleaning the stove while in use. I liked the device until I had to use more than 2 burners. When I first turned on the leftmost burner, it didn't boil. The device began to heat up: you could see the coils glowing. As soon as the coils turn red, a loud click will be heard, the coils will switch off and then start heating again. When they turn red again, it turns itself off, only to repeat the cycle over and over without bringing it to a boil. All other burners work perfectly. I went through the manual to verify the installation, again 4 out of 5 burners work so installation is no problem and it installs according to the manual. When I logged into Amazon to try to fix the problem, the "Chat Help" said I had installed incorrectly and then it stopped chatting, no more replies. No help. Since Revain chalked it up to me, I use this burner as a simmer burner. But I'm not happy that my new stove doesn't work.
