What's good about it? Best in Routers

I bought this particular router because of 1. brand, 2. claims of variable speed compensation and e-speed and 3. production time (although this can be an indication of quality) I have built it into Jessem's newly completed lift table. It was believed that a good combination that I was willing to give was a test. I installed a lock bit and cut 3/4 of the poplar wood as a test of the bit setting. The router could not support RPM and indicated that I could completely stop it with any additional load. I could only feed firewood in an amount that would easily ignite a fire. I uninstalled Bosch and reinstalled my Fixed Speed Porter Cable 690 and tried a different cut. I waited for the router to fight like Bosch did. The drill bit cuts so easily I thought it wasn't set and just skids on the wood but no! It was a completely simple cut. Granted now. The Porter cable router has a fixed speed, but that's why I had to install a variable speed router in my desk for larger bits (I use a 1/2" shank more than a 1/4" shank). Now my plan was to use my 690 as a manual as I had every reason to own it after many years of ownership. Now it's back on the table. And I stayed with Bosch as a manual router, which I only have a solid base for. And now I have all my computer sockets, which take up space without a motor, always at hand. So I buy another 690 to have on hand or I buy another router motor for my desk. I wanted to return Bosch but I was so confident in the product that the box went in the bin the day it was delivered. The Bosch is amazingly quiet, starts smooth and I can only hope that as a lightweight manual option it will suffice for my needs. bottom line. I'm almost fed up with the problems that have been piling up because of non-compliance from Bosch. I didn't know that! The tiller lift I bought was for a 3 1/2" motor. And now even with a new purchase I'm limited in what I can do. Updated app for review. Haven't used this router yet as I have confidence in lost its RPM capability.I still use my porter cable and get good results..As I said in the beginning I needed a variable speed router for big bits with a 1/2" shank. Or at least I tried to get one. Who knows, maybe one that actually compensates for the load would suffice my needs. It doesn't have an RPM service option, or mine is broken and I don't think it's the last option! I like this router as a handheld router, which is what it was intended for. This is a soft start machine that runs very precisely and quietly. It handles well and with the accessories available it's sure to be a router that will be passed on to anyone who can get my tools when I'm gone. I just want this to work in my router table. So! it's only money Now I will buy another router motor for my desk.
