Review on 🔌 HiLetgo ADS1115 4 Channel I2C Analog-to-Digital Converter - High Precision for Arduino & Raspberry Pi by Matt Zraik

The IC is not 16-bit. It behaves exactly like the 12-bit part in all respects, even though the "BOGI" marking on the IC corresponds to the 16-bit ADS1115 according to the TI data sheet. As with the other two bumps, the low 4 bits are always zero. I tried two different libraries supporting ADS1115 devices for ESP8266 based NodeMCU and both gave the same result. However, the 12-bit ADS1015 configuration works fine. I contacted Hiletgo customer service and they responded. They indicated that they would check with their supplier. I ordered this board from another vendor and will see if it is indeed 16-bit.
