I've disassembled and cleaned the filter system twice, but it's still not enough for this small 2 gallon tank (of course I change the filter every time I clean the tank). Also, the multi-color light requires 3 AAA batteries and will eat them up in about 2 days. Plugin in One is much better. And I need to buy a heater. With that in mind, I'd be happy to do more research and purchase a system that is much better suited to live fish. I'm pretty sure this system will be ideal for plastic fish. Speaking of PLASTIC: I just found out that you shouldn't put plastic plants in aquariums. You can tear a betta's delicate fins. Adding everything up, including the new aquarium I bought today, I spent $300 on a $3 fish. Many Thanks.
