I bought this LCD monitor to replace the HP L1720 Full Display. Let's start from the beginning: First of all, the monitor was well packed. Setup was very easy. I used the DVI connector. XP SP3 recognized the new monitor and after I adjusted the nVidia display settings to the HP recommended resolution, I was in business! The monitor is very bright and clear. I find this panel easier to read than a regular LCD without BrightView. Text is crisp and I can play games with no noticeable ill effects. The size is enough to increase the performance a bit. For example, in Word, you can view multiple pages in full size without scrolling. The only bad thing about this monitor is the speakers. I set the volume to 65 so I can hear the audio (and the volume is turned up to the max in Windows). I recommend using external speakers when purchasing this monitor. All in all, this is a great purchase. Track the price of transactions.
