This gate is AWESOME. I use it to keep my dogs halfway around the house while I'm at work and this gate does the job perfectly. I love that it swings in every direction you walk so you don't have to step back to open the gate. I'm sure that sounds fishy, but it's just an added convenience these gates offer. I also like that part of the gate is a few inches wider than many gates. When I'm at home I can leave the gate fully open and it doesn't bother me at all to walk down the hall. If I have a basket full of laundry I don't have to lift any extra weight to get through the gate etc. The people making the gate must have taken note of all the people complaining about how 'poorly made' "This gate is "bent" to be and not to queue. There is now a huge yellow sign saying it needs to be bent. When you attach the gate they line up so you know everything is right! Very convenient. My space was exactly 36" at the top and slightly narrower at the bottom due to the shape, so we removed the zip ties from the bottom, but the gate didn't close properly. To raise or lower the gate, they poke very badly. Upon further investigation, the bottom bolt closest to the hinge was pressed against the hinge inside the gate. My fiance cut the screw off about an inch (we obviously don't need the extra length) and when we put them back in they fit like a glove. Great goal! I'm so happy I have these! Pros: - Wide gate opening - Rotates in any direction - Stays open - Aesthetically pleasing Cons: - Step your foot on the bottom bar, remember, don't shuffle like a recluse.
