I laid the floor in a 500 sqm building. feet and had hammers to knock. I figured I would probably need the spacers and front linkage from this kit. What I really liked: 1. The hammer turned out to be surprisingly durable and effective. The transparent yellow side was used for tapping the ground, while the black side of the hammer was used for the more blunt tapping of the tapping block. 2. Spacers worked. I don't know what else to say other than that you can stack and stagger the spacers to create different thicknesses if needed.3. The tail pull worked like a charm. It has two felt pads on the bottom that lay flat on the floor to prevent scratches. The only thing that didn't work for my gender was the knocker block. The groove was too shallow for my floor spring, so the spring could be damaged during use. I found it much easier to just cut off a piece of flooring and use it as a tapping block.
