Despite many reviews on what to buy based on height, this model was a perfect fit for short people not my experience at all. I bought this particular stool based on the short people reviews. He was too low for me. I wear wedges and heels to the office (where I use a stool) 4 days a week and because of the heels, not everything on this stool reached the right height - even the day I wore the sneakers it was so low. I had no choice but to send them back because I needed the right stool for medical reasons. When I returned the stool there was no problem other than having to use a rubber mallet to pry it apart. The stool is not easy to disassemble. Searching YouTube helped with this process as nothing can be found on the owner sheet that can be identified by disassembling the stool. The stool I bought to replace this one adjusts to 24.8-34.6 inches. It's very useful! I can go up or down without feeling like I've reached max height and have nowhere else to go. I couldn't use this at max height as I'm short but the 25" setting works fine for me.
