I've always heard of the use of a magic eraser and how good it is, but it's always been too expensive to buy. Now I see these melamine sponges are $100 for about $17 so I was curious to see what it looked like. I actually bought two sets of melamine sponges from different brands and this one is on the left in a black bag. It's more spongy and flexible while the other kind breaks when I try to take it out of the box. This brand is also less expensive. However, when wet, both brands seem to wash dishes very well. What I particularly noticed is that both types pick up dirt and coffee stains easily. So in terms of functionality, I see that this GIOUIEE brand has more of the flexibility of a sponge that I've always used, while the other brand is more rigid. This is a great price for it's value and now I will definitely be buying the branded magic eraser again which costs more or just regular dishwashing sponges.
